Repairable damage needs professional inspection.
A small puncture in the main tread area may be repairable if the tyre still has safe tread depth and has not been driven flat for a damaging distance. The object, hole angle and internal condition all matter.
Sidewall and shoulder damage are different.
The sidewall flexes heavily while driving. Cuts, bulges or punctures in this area can compromise the tyre structure and normally require replacement rather than a temporary fix.
Stop driving when pressure drops.
Continuing to drive can damage the inner sidewall, wheel and bead. Park safely, switch on the hazard lights and arrange an inspection at the vehicle location.
